Hey Jesse – What the heck is wrong with the name “Girlfriend or Girly-Girl?”
I think “Girlfriend” is a very appropriate name from the way you described this
mare. Or, how about “Marely, Mare!” That’s a little hard to say and it wouldn’t
carry as well as “Girly-Girl” when you’re out in the pasture calling her name sooo, I’ll stick with “Girly-Girl.” I probably won’t win a prize ’cause you actually
came up with that name, but that’s alright. It’s all about giving the orphan a
name, right? Right. Thanks for letting me entertain this thought.. JC
Why not name her after grandma Veeder? Edith would be a great name and honor a great woman.
