Happy Saturday!

I do hope you have something fantastic planned for this beautiful September weekend. I am getting ready to head out the door to help my little big sister photograph a wedding for a family friend. They are getting married by the shore of Lake Sakakawea…it will be a fun night.

Anyway, I would like to extend a huge thank you to those of you who participated in helping to get my new favorite horse named. A name is an important thing. One of the most important. And you all took it as a serious challenge and ran with it! So many unique, funny, sweet and sassy ideas, you all are brilliant and it was so hard to narrow it down to one.

I spent the last few days riding the paint mare and bouncing the ideas off of my family, and last night, my friends at the rodeo. Oh, which reminds me, I just have to show you this shot I took during the wild ride where cowboys dress up in ridiculous costumes and try to stay on a bareback or saddle bronc horse for 8 seconds.

Look at this crazy guy dressed as Wonder Woman. Hilarious.

He didn’t make the whistle, but he made us laugh.
