It was a Wednesday night date night.
Because it was 90 degrees and the lake is so close.
Because we used to be more spontaneous like this, and it’s just going to get harder I imagine.
Because I might not be good at taking selfies, but this is a good man.
Because the badlands touch the big lake here, and the geese float in the bay and the carp come up to feed and jump and the sun turns the shore golden and the water dark blue…
Because someone needs to be there to witness it…
